2025 has been an exceptional year at EmLogic – and we’re closing it on a high note! We are very proud that our very own Even Eide Hansen is one of three nominees to the "Best FPGA related Master´s thesis" prize at the next FPGA-Forum.
Even will present his Master thesis "Efficient Deep Learning for Real-Time Arrhythmia Detection on Edge FPGAs in Wearable Devices" on day 1 of FPGA-forum in February 2026.

The radio-links between a satellite and ground stations on Earth are critical for all space missions. These links are used to command the satellite, obtain telemetry, and downlink payload data.

Yocto makes it easy to build images you can flash straight to an SD card or eMMC. An image typically contains a small boot partition and a larger rootfs partition, both with sizes fixed in a config file.
In this article, Michal Koziel shows a better approach: keep the image small (or even smaller than the original), then grow the /home (or data) partition automatically on first boot.
